How we calculate this
Our cost is our monthly rate for each person, including recruitment and management.
Permanent hires are the median salary for the role and seniority, plus superannuation, payroll tax and on-costs. We have not added a recruitment fee or equipment, which would put the figure higher.
Contractors are the median day rate charged to the client, over 21 working days.
Hours. Our engineers work 8 hours a day and take 25 days off a year, including public holidays. That is about 230 more working hours a year per person than an Australian employee.
Figures are estimates based on 2026 salary and rate guides from Robert Half, Re:Sourced, Morgan McKinley and Pearson Carter, rounded.

Ho Chi Minh City is three hours behind the east coast of Australia in winter and four hours behind in summer. Most of our people start by 8am, and many start between 6am and 8am, so their day begins between 9am and noon on the east coast. Some prefer to work from the afternoon into the evening.

Why a quote can differ from the calculator
Higher
A specific skill, experience in your industry or a high standard of spoken English can each put a person above our standard rate, and someone with all of them costs more again. Experienced AI engineers are hard to find anywhere at the moment, and the good ones set their own price.
Lower
If you can work with a lower standard of spoken English, or are happy for someone to pick up part of your stack on the job, we can often build a team below these rates.
