Switch Automation turns building telemetry into operating decisions for large property portfolios. Their product roadmap was moving faster than their engineering capacity, so ours joined it.
The problem
Switch Automation is a US software company that gives large property portfolios real-time visibility of energy use, equipment faults and building performance. As the client base grew, the roadmap outgrew the in-house team. Hiring locally would take months, and the features their enterprise customers were waiting on could not wait that long.
The work
Coder Trove engineers embedded directly into Switch's product team: their standups, their sprints, their architectural discussions. The work was the platform itself. .NET services on Azure handling telemetry ingestion and processing, and the dashboards and features that turn building data into operating decisions.
Delivery had to happen without disrupting a live platform, at enterprise quality, inside Switch's own workflow and culture. Embedded work is judged on a simple test: whether the client's own engineers would pass your code in review. Ours did, sprint after sprint, across time zones.
